We all long to be together and utter the words of greeting to Jesus. I know that we all hunger and thirst spiritually to celebrate our faith as a family united around the Word of God and the Precious Body & Blood of Jesus Christ. Although we are not physically together, we are spiritually united with the Lord and one another. Lift up your hearts to the Lord, He is near. Jesus Christ has not abandoned us; He loves us to the depth of our being. This is truly a time of testing of the strength of our Faith, Hope, and Love, of Almighty God.
The most holy and sacred time of the year is upon us. Holy Thursday, Good Friday, Holy Saturday, and the greatest celebration of all; The Glory of the Resurrection of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ! “There is cause for rejoicing here. You may for a time have to suffer the distress of many trials; but this is so that your faith, which is more precious than the passing splendor of fire-tried gold, may by its genuineness lead to praise, glory, and honor when Jesus Christ appears. Although you have never seen him, you love him, and without seeing you now believe in him, and rejoice with inexpressible joy touched with glory because you are achieving faith’s goal, your salvation.” (The First Epistle of Peter 1:6-9)
Dear brothers and sisters, be assured of the love and prayers of your brother Priests and Deacon, and the Parish Staff. All Praise, Glory, and Honor; to God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. Amen
