There are two singing ensembles at SJTE, and both groups are looking for members to come and join, with the only requirement: Participants must be fully vaccinated.

The SJTE Contemporary Music Group is looking for new adult singers for our melody, tenor, and soprano sections. The CMS sings at the 9:00 a.m. Sunday Mass and rehearses on Thursday evenings. If you are interested in committing or learning more about them, please see Pat after Mass.

Our Traditional Choir meets on Sunday mornings at 11:00 a.m. (just before the 11:30 Mass). Choir members receive a weekly email with all the selections of the week, and sing a whole range of standard hymns, as well as some larger pieces that are fully arranged. SJTE relies on community participation, and the Music Ministry cannot thrive without support. The commitment is minimal, offering not just the fun of singing, but the social benefits of having a group that really enjoys being together.
