On June 18, 2016, Cardinal Timothy Dolan dedicated the St. John's Prayer Garden, concluding almost 3 years of planning and effort by a small task force.

The lakefront property on which the prayer garden is located has historically been used as an area of reflection and mediation. With the building out of the Prayer Garden, the site has been given new accessiblity and functionality. This new garden can be used for meaningful meditation. 

Several individual parishoners have already made significant donations toward the installation and maintenance of the Garden. There are still opportunities to contribute and "Leave Your Mark" through engraved memorial pavers which are located in the Garden. As always, we appreciate all donations to sustain this beautiful part of our parish.
